Savory Walnut Crumbs For Vegetables
¼ cup butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups soft bread crumbs
1 cup coarsely chopped Diamond Walnuts
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
In skillet, melt butter; add garlic.
Toss with bread crumbs.
Cook over medium heat until crumbs are golden brown stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; stir in walnuts and cheese.
Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
To serve sprinkle over cooked vegetables or stir into cooked pasta. 2 ½ cups.
