Cheddar Wheels

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2cups(8 oz.) grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup finely chopped Diamond Walnuts, divided
  • ½ cup chopped pepperoni
  • ½ cup sliced green onions


Cream butter with cheese, egg and mustard until smooth.
Stir in flour and baking powder; mix well.
Fold in ½ cup walnuts, pepperoni, and onions.
Shape mixture into two 8 inch rolls; coat with remaining ½ cup walnuts.
Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Heat oven to 350°F.
Slices about ¼inch thick: place on un greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350°F. for about 15 minutes.
