Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 8 lollipop sticks
  • 2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup orange candy melts
  • 10 soft caramel candies
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup Diamond of California® Pecans, finely chopped

The Steps

  1. Wash the apples and dry thoroughly. Slice each apple length-wise into 4, ½ inch slices, cutting the rounded ends off so each slice is flat.
  2. Stick a lollipop stick into the bottom of each apple slice and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate, then dip the apple slices into the chocolate, shaking off the excess before placing back on the parchment paper. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt the white chocolate and the orange candy melts in two separate bowls, set aside.
  5. Put the caramel candies and the water in a small saucepot over medium heat and cook until caramel is melted.
  6. Remove the apples from the fridge and drizzle each slice with white chocolate, orange candy melt and caramel.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Refrigerate for another 20 minutes before serving.
