Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Diamond of California Pecans
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • Crackers for serving

The Steps

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and line a small cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small sauce pan over medium-high heat, combine the brown sugar, butter, cream, salt and cinnamon. Stir until sugar melts, then whisk until it thickens, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool while brie bakes.
  3. Place the brie on the cookie sheet and bake for 7 minutes. Immediately transfer the brie to a serving plate.
  4. Sprinkle the pecans and dried cranberries on top, and then drizzle with caramel sauce. Serve with crackers for dipping.
