Bark and with Almonds and Sea Salt

  • 1/2 cup Diamond of California® Whole Almonds
  • 1 lb 80% or above dark chocolate
  • 1/2 tsp rock sea salt

The Steps

  1. If applicable, break the chocolate into small pieces and place 90% of it in a heat proof stainless steel bowl.
  2. Bring a ⅓ of a pot of water to boil and turn it down to simmer.
  3. Place the bowl on top of the pot and stir chocolate until melted.
  4. Once the chocolate is melted. Take the bowl off the pot and stir in the remainder chocolate. This will temper your chocolate.
  5. Mix in the almonds & sea salt.
  6. Carefully pour and spread the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Lightly tap the sheet on the counter to release any air bubbles.
  7. Allow to cool & harden for 2 hours.
