Banana and Orange Breakfast Smoothie

- Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.
- Pour into two glasses.
- Accompany each serving with half a toasted bagel and 1 tablespoon fruit preserves.
Directions
1 orange, peeled, sectioned, and seeded if necessary
1 banana, peeled and sliced
¾ cup nonfat milk
¾ cup nonfat plain yogurt, or nonfat fruit yogurt
¼ cup wheat bran
¼ cup (1 ounce) chopped California walnuts
3 tablespoons honey
½ teaspoon vanilla
