Call off the search – I found summer’s best breakfast! A fruit and nut yogurt parfait is a great breakfast any time of year, but combining cool yogurt and a little crunch with a bounty of fresh seasonal fruit makes this a perfect pick for the warmer months.

All you need is:

  • ¼ – ½ cup each your choice of 1-3 Diamond of California nuts, chopped or sliced
  • ½ cup your choice of granola or muesli
  • ½ cup your choice of yogurt
  • ½ cup of your favorite berries or fruits (fresh or dried, chopped or sliced)

Using a large glass, cup or mason jar, layer ingredients according to the diagram below, alternating between a crunchy ingredient like nuts or granola and a softer ingredient like yogurt or fruit. Enjoy immediately – or pop in the freezer for a cool, grab-n-go sweet treat later in the day!
